For this solo exhibition by Sébastien Gourmelen, Galerie Lessirard presents the artist’s most recent works. A multidisciplinary artist, Sébastien Gourmelen explores, through various media, the questions of being, space, and movement. 
C O R P S is a true journey. Fabric becomes a language and a vehicle for revelation, acting as a bridge between the visible and the invisible. The photographic series on display retrace these aesthetic explorations. These pieces capture the fluttering of veils, evoking an ephemeral ballet in which the body is at once visible and elusive. The materiality of the textile, constantly suspended between grounding and elevation, expresses the relationship between weight and lightness, stillness and perpetual movement.
