April analysis

In our April newsletter edition, we turn our attention to the gestural practice of artist Noelia Cabello Cuervo, through her work exhibited at Galerie Lessirard, SIN TITULO.
The artist’s gesture is intimate and instinctive. Painting directly on the floor, she lets her hand guide the line, without premeditation. The ink becomes breath, rhythm, pure movement. Each line is born from an inner pulse, oscillating between presence and erasure. Both the void and the trace create a silent language where the body thinks before the gaze.
Her work, poised between abstraction and the poetry of gesture, invites us to feel rather than to understand—a space where the visible echoes the invisible.
